Wife and I traveled down from Pennsylvania to visit some friends and participate in a global paranormal event and stayed here. Even though the owners were on vacation, house boat was very clean and environment was amazing. While the bathroom was small, that made little effect on our overall experience. Highlight was the amazing “parking attendant and guest relations specialist” Bo Bo the dog. Very friendly and only asked for pets. I’m apart of several events in the paranormal community and will definitely recommend and stay myself again.

This place was absolutly perfect for our families needs for Thanksgiving. The Lumberjack cabin was so quaint and perfect. My kids loved it, my husband and I were very comfortable, and it had so much space for family to come together. The campgrounds as a whole were spacious, scenic, welcoming, quite, and the lake with the perch and otters was so lovely and calming. If I have to book accommodations away from my family home again this place is uncontested on the top of my list.

I really enjoyed my stay at the cabins. The owner is extremely kind and takes very good care of the place. I love the pond and the tree house as well as the pool table/clubhouse, it’s a wonderful place to visit. They were very welcoming to my children and I’m thankful for that because usually my children can tend to be obnoxious, but they kept busy while out there. I’ll definitely be going back.

We stayed in a very small cabin which was great for the two of us. Bathroom was almost too small for a 200 lb individual. If you dropped the soap in the shower, your butt would be sticking out when you picked it up. Cabin and appliances were all clean. Owners were amicable. Would stay again.

My family and I stayed here from out of town when my sister passed away and captain Dave and his wife were amazing. They made a difficult situation a little less stressful. The cabins are beautiful, very accommodating, and very affordable. The scenery is just beautiful and peaceful. I loved the pond. We love the big dog that was so friendly and stayed at my cabin all night guarding our cabin lol he kept me company when I sat on the porch at night. Great people, great place, great experience. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and friend of the family spent Easter weekend here. This is our 2nd year going and linen is always clean and smell fresh. The small children, teenagers, and adults enjoyed being here. Its so much fun for everyone to do. We are already planning another trip for next year. The only disadvantage is that there's no swimming pool (Please think about adding one). The other disadvantage is that we have to pay for firewood. It should be included with the cabin.

They aren't very welcoming if small children will be there for longer than a very short period of time. They did recommend someone else up the road, but I haven't tried them after feeling so unwelcome due to their other long term visitors.
